A dose of knowledge about water
Silicon and Vanadium
- Silicon
- Silicon is a non-metallic element that is abundant in the earth’s crust. It forms a part of the skin, bone etc. in living things.
- Vanadium
- Vanadium is a kind of mineral, such as calcium and magnesium, and it can be found in hijiki seaweed and clams.
Enjoy soft water
To truly enjoy the scents of coffee, dark tea, green tea, and whiskey, it is better to use soft water. In addition, soft water is excellent to bring out the good aroma of rice and other cereals.
Require amount of water each day
Human body needs about 2.5 liters of water each day, and about 1 liter can be obtained from meals. It is necessary to frequently supplement water that cannot be obtained by meals alone. It is said that water circulates continuously throughout the body and carries nutrients to every corner of the body and makes up 60% of an adult body and about 80% of a newborn body. Water plays an important function to maintain body temperature through water metabolism.
The amount of water lost each day through physiological discharge from a human body in the form of sweat and urine is about 2 to 2.5 liter. Since we lose water even without doing any exercise, it is important to hydrate ourselves frequently.
How to drink water well
To maintain your health daily, it is important to consciously replenish moisture for your body.
It is important to take 1 liter of water a day outside of meals, but it is not effective to drink all at once and impose a burden on your stomach that will cause indigestion. In addition, precious minerals are excreted without being properly absorbed. We would like to introduce an appropriate method to rehydrate our body with mineral water.
- Before bed and after waking up in the morning
It is said that humans lose 1 to 2 cups (about 100 to 300 cc) of water in the form of sweat each night during sleep.
*Since taking too much water before sleep may interfere with sleeping, it is important to know and consume a proper amount of water.
- Drink during an exercise or when sweating
During an exercise, your body temperature rises causing the discharge of water and minerals as sweat.
*Although the appropriate amount of water to be taken may vary according to level of exercise, it is good to rehydrate yourself frequently with 200 cc of water once every 15-20 minutes.
- Drink a small amount of water several times even if you are not thirsty
It is said that being thirsty is the sign that dehydration symptoms have already started.
*When your body's moisture decreases by 2%, you may feel a deep thirst and experience dehydration symptoms. Frequent hydration prior to feeling thirsty is must.
- Drink after a warm bath
Minerals such as calcium are also discharged outside the body together with sweat during bathing.
*Water supplementation after bathing up is also very important to overcome summer weariness.
